Virginia Tieghi (Italy, 1999) is a photographer with experience in communication, environmental education, and social impact projects. She holds a BA in Anthropology from University College London (2019–2022), and she complemented her training with photography studies at Paris College of Art (2018–2019) and the Fondazione Studio Marangoni (2025, Florence). She also earned a Master’s degree in Education and Sustainability from Université Paris Cité (2023–2024).
She has worked as a project management assistant for Biodiversity and Impact at ENGAGE (Paris, 2024), and as a digital communication assistant at the Palais de Tokyo (2022–2023). She collaborated with UCL’s Multimedia Anthropology Lab (2019–2021) on projects involving Indigenous communities in Brazil, and contributed articles to Anthropolitan, UCL’s anthropology magazine.
Passionate about visual and documentary storytelling, she also co-edits and produces photography books, exploring the relationship between image, territory, and memory.
